I had a stain on my carpet that could not be removed by a professional so my next thought was to call Flooring Expo (where I purchased my carpet) to see how much it would cost to cut out a piece of my carpet and put a piece in. I spoke with... and explained my situation. She was kind enough to look up my order and inform me that my carpet was still under warranty...
